Recieved new 15k WLL Snatch block today.

Recieved my New 15K WLL Snatch block today. Dissembled and inspected. No grease installed. Pulley center hole is machine cut and is not polished and there is no bearing. Im confident that it will fill together and self polish, just was hoping for more. Cut some leather washers to fit inside of the cover to take up space and help prevent dirt from entering in between the roller and sides. More that’s a 1/16” Gap. Leather filtered the void nice and filled with Hi pressure grease. Will disassemble after first use and check to make sure there is no galling. Clean and reassemble. It’s not the quality of a $500 shackle but should work well for my needs at 1/10th the cost. At the very least you need to grease before you put into use.
